Danish storm glass in polished stainless steel enclosure. The design was developed by the Danish designer Stig Larsen in 1982. Larsen discovered an old storm glass while travelling the world and was fascinated by its functionality. After he had come back to Denmark, he developed a new metal enclosure that protects this storm glass and looks great at the same time. A glance at the small glass tube allows immediate forecasting of the weather. The formation of crystals predicts bad weather, while no crystals in the tube means good weather.
